Goodbye Young Heron | Wednesday Jul 23, 2008
Here I am at my favorite Heron Rookery located at the Mississippi River. I will be posting some of my favorite Blue Heron and White Egret photos from this paddle. This photo of a young Blue Heron flying away is my favorite. I just find something so comical about it. This Heron is only about 2 months old. He stuck around for quite a while while I photographed him from my canoe, then decided he had enough of me and my camera. Bye, bye.
