Thank you for your comment! This is one of my very favorites! I just went back to the original photograph and looked up the camera settings. My settings were aperture: f/11 and speed: 1/500 and I used ISO 500. All these higher settings allowed me to pretty much catch the action without blurring the birds. If you see this photo larger though, the very ends of some of the wings are blurred from motion, which adds nicely to the photo. I also had to use higher settings to stop action because I was sitting in my canoe when I was taking photos of the Egrets. I didn't want my slight movement in the canoe to blur my shots!
