I carry a Canon and work on a Mac. I love puffy cheetos and Mountain Dew. I work two jobs. One is at a large daycare center where I have worked for 24 years and spend a great deal of my time being creative and laughing. The kids keep me young and make me old, they do both equally well. The second job is at a photography studio where I get to be creative on the computer and do stuff to other peoples photos. My own photography is kept as a fun and passionate outlet where no one tells me what to do and when to do it. I intend to keep it that way.

I love to canoe or kayak, or just be by the water anywhere anytime. I have been paddling the Boundary Waters Canoe Area with a friend for 25 years and feel completely lucky to have experienced this journey repeatedly in my lifetime. I intend to keep paddling until all my movable body parts have been replaced and then those wear out. Then maybe, just maybe, I will rest.

If I am not paddling, then I love to be walking with my camera in the woods. If I am not walking in the woods, then I like to be in bed with a book. I read a lot. I love adventure novels, computer books, memoirs, photography books and Simpsons comics.

I like dark brown leather furniture, black bookshelves and antique cameras. I like a full wine rack, people with a great sense of humor, my beautiful red canoe, and friday nights with a few beers around a roaring fire.

My best friends and family are my greatest blessings and I often express my love for them through my photography. It is how I speak without words.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my images. It was my pleasure to capture them and share them with you.
